Porthcawl for a stag or hen weekend
Porthcawl sits on the South Wales coast, 40 minutes from Cardiff and around 90 minutes from Bristol. It's a proper seaside town - working promenade, surf beach, arcades, enough places to eat and drink that you'll have options past midnight.

- Coasteering on the Gower - 20 minutes along the coast. More physical than the others and genuinely good scenery.
None of it requires a car. Bridgend is 10 minutes by taxi from the station, and most of the above is reachable from there.
